This was a doozy of a project, and I probably made it twice as hard on myself for the extra restrictions I added: the brief was to create branding for a pop-up exhibition, sponsored by Nike, and featuring 3 graffiti artists for an underground show. In addition, I added the constraint that the show needed to have a central mark that represented all of the artists together, but the three styles needed to be modular so that an individual artist could sell merchandise.

The exhibition featured artists Neli0, Beastman, and Lowbros, for which I designed the singular mark that tied their styles together. The center piece holds the Nike swoosh, which of course was necessary as Nike was sponsoring the event. Swipe through the gallery and you’ll see how I ultimately decided to pull the combined logo apart to give each artist a unique mark representative of their individual style.
