For my graphic design senior thesis project, I chose to do a 2:30 motion piece placing myself in the mindset of conspiracy theorists everywhere. Based on Michael Shermer’s “The Believing Brain” and other research on the topic, I composed a narrative that provides a balanced (if a bit skeptical) look at “true believers,” with a limited color palette to compliment the polarized thinking of many theorists.

The piece won one of two thesis awards out of my graduating graphic design class and has been featured on numerous sites and blogs. Michael Shermer himself has featured it on his website where it remains today–generating pretty interesting conversation all the time. So far over 28,000 people have seen the video and the count grows daily!
