Chronicling a century of the San Francisco Ferry Building was no small undertaking and as far as I know has never been done before or since in poster form. There is no question that it is one of the most, if not the most, important building in San Francisco’s history and has stood guardian over us through two massive earthquakes and their resulting fires.

From a UX standpoint, this was a major challenge as there is just so much information and imagery to convey. Another experimentation with color, I feel the posters are successful in utilizing hue to tell a visual story and let the building speak for itself over 100 pictures for 100 years.
